CONTROL

Jiabao Guo

Dialogue with AI, under the control of identity colonialism, each person is given an identity code representing their sexual orientation, race, culture and education, and AI algorithms assign different information (including books, movies, news, music and various cultural products) to each person through the identity code. As a result, people are likely to feel close to people with similar identity information and cultural reference systems because they receive similar information from social media. The characters in the film are questioning whether AI algorithms have the power to shape each person's destiny by shaping their identity, thereby solidifying social structures to mask class conflicts.
