Masked Rave

Identity flowing, regardless of gender, race, age, or religious belief, they can play the role or things they want in the virtual community through technology, and change their identity at any time, or play a role in the real world through psychedelics. This means that these new identities will be constructed in a DIY, anti-institutionalization, and anti-labeling way. This is a collective imagination of autonomy, identity, and desire to realize existence, which is in a self-fulfilling way, rather than an instrumental, socially defined way. In specific social practices, due to the existence of intermediaries, the relationship between people must be treated dialectically. On the one hand, the intermediary is a kind of camouflage, which hides the original identity. On the other hand, people use it to release their feelings and interact with others with a more free and strong feelings.

Masking Rave has developed with social media and the digital revolution, which is not only a realistic new youth culture but also a subculture that can be accessed online. Charleston House is composed of virtual and reality, personal and public domains, hidden and exposed, and spatial relationships that can lead to cooperation and conflict, so it is a place to build identity, scope, relationship, and space.
