In the 2030s and 40s, our continued exposure to curated digital identities fuels a growing desire to change our physical reality to match our digital one. Body altering practices proliferate. We amend, augment, reshape, and extend at our leisure thanks to advances in gene manipulation and near god-like surgical prowess. These images begin to articulate a spatial context for this body-altering world. Through bodies, medical tools, and distorted proportions, they attempt to convey the disorienting and often overlooked experience of body augmentation.
